Renew America Together Announces Inaugural Class for its
Civility Leadership Institute

Little Rock, ARK, (July 14, 2021)— Renew America Together was started in the belief that most
Americans agree on many things. But the things they disagree on are causing our society to be more and
more polarized. It is those times when we disagree, and the stakes are highest, that we must be our best
selves to make progress for the common good. Over the past few years, we recognized the need for a
program to empower American’s with the tools to better communicate with those they influence and those
that try and influence them. It is for this reason that we created the Renew America Together Civility
Leadership Institute.

“We are excited to announce the members of our inaugural Class. These diverse individuals from across
the country represent different backgrounds, beliefs, and demographic profiles. We are encouraged that
they recognize we need to work towards a more civil future and that they are hoping to help in this
process by using the tools they will learn from our program,” said General Wesley K. Clark (ret), founder
of Renew America Together.

During this six-month program, the 30 participants will gain insights about themselves and others and
build leadership skills that will enable them to better communicate with those they influence and those
who try to influence them. Participants will also apply what they learn to real-life situations where the
consequences of their leadership matter,

Participants will meet once a month virtually for six months and participate in 12 months of follow-up.
Each month they will work through an exciting curriculum, hear from dynamic nationally recognized
speakers, and strengthen their relationships with each other. In addition, Civility Leadership Institute
graduates will receive professional certifications in VitalSmarts™ Crucial Conversations, TypeCoach
Influence Training, and participate in a year-long follow-up program to continue building relationships with
one another and measuring their progress and accomplishments and receive professional coaching from
industry leaders.
